Gale

PASS THIS PRAYER TO ALL THE OTHERS WHO ARE PRAYING FOR THE MANY REQUESTS."
She adds, "I have found that I
have to say this prayer before I start to pray for the many requests."
It is based on the apostle Paul's exhortation to take up the
full armor of God for effective spiritual warfare. (See
Ephesians 6:10ff.)
In the Name of Jesus, I put
on His salvation for my helmet, His righteousness for my breastplate, His
truth as the belt around my waist, and on my feet the readiness to spread
the gospel of peace. I take up the shield of faith to put out all the fiery
arrows of the evil one and take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the
Word of God, to fight temptation like Jesus did and according to
God's Word. The glory of the Lord is my rear guard.
