In Prayer
IF YOU'VE CHOSEN TO JOIN the Intercessors' Circle, I would encourage you to take a few minutes to fill in the form below. The brief answers you provide to each of these questions will be used to write a short profile about you to post in the "Profiles" link here in the Intercessors' Corner. This will help acquaint prayer partners with each other and provide a means for those receiving prayer to learn more about those praying for them.

Who are you? Feel free to tell us a little about yourself, your family, your church, where you live, etc.
What do you see your role in prayer as being? For some it is meditation or contemplation, for others submission or relinquishment, for others petition or request, and for others spiritual warfare, etc. For most, it is a mix of roles. What do you find the dominant mode to be in your prayer life?
When did you first sense a calling to intercede? Feel free to mention here any person's influence or life event that played into your sense of calling to give prayer the priority in your life that it is.
Where do you find that God has placed you in your personal prayer life? Some are comfortable praying over prayer lists, others over divinely given prayer assignments. Some pray mostly for spiritual needs, others for physical healing, others for deliverance for the demonized. Some pray for individuals, some for unreached people groups, and others for nations politically defined. What is your dominant prayer focus?
Why do you get satisfaction out of prayer? Most intercessors labor at prayer but enjoy it immensely. You've indicated that you are an intercessor. How would you describe the pleasure or benefit that you derive from prayer?
How do you pray? Many use the Lord's Prayer as a prayer outline; others use the intercessory prayers of Old Testament saints like Daniel, Nehemiah, Ezra, etc.; others incorporate elements of Paul's prayers in the Epistles; others pray extemporaneously with no particular biblical model in mind. Think for a minute about your own prayer times. Is there somewhat of a structure that your prayers follow? Describe it.
